omeone who cares...

For some individuals, it may be considered a great blessing to let their loved one pass.  However, for many families, the passing of a loved one leads to a very emotional time set with confusion, doubt, fear, and guilt. We wonder why death has to come to our loved one at such an inopportune time.

Many survivors are left confused and frightened after the death of their loved one. The bereavement process may be incredibly painful.  Communicating with those of our religious faith may be a valuable experience, but understanding and coping with the emptiness may require extra help.

The following are organizations in our community that recognize this need and offer bereavement counseling.

Southern Utah Home Care & Hospice offers an eight-week bereavement course free to the public several times per year.  Please contact Debbie Miller at (435) 634-9300 for more information.  Courses are also offered in Hurricane and Cedar City.

IHC Home Care & Hospice - (435) 688-4567

Ted Warthen Center for the Terminally Ill - (435) 656-4855
