Gloria Farnsworth Willis, beloved wife of Jay C Willis passed away March 6, 2010. Gloria was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 2, 1935 to Brigham Edward (Ted) and Nancy Farnsworth.

Her father was an entrepreneur who started businesses in Idaho, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Saint George and Cedar City so Gloria lived in many towns throughout her childhood.

Jay and Gloria met in Cedar City and married in the Saint George temple on 15 March 1952. They lived in and raised their 5 children in Cedar City, Saint George, and Ogden UT. Gloria was a homemaker and loved to create beautiful craft work. She was a talented musician who played the clarinet, piano and organ. She was friendly with a very good sense of humor and loved to meet new people and make new friends. She loved to read, go fishing and camping. One of her joys was being a camp hostess at Duck Creek.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Jay C. Willis, her children; Sandra (Arlo) Jones of St. George,UT, Kenneth (Velma) Willis of Clinton, UT, Jay R (Mica) Willis of Baldwin, KS, Kerry Willis of Clinton, UT, Clinton ( Nancy) Willis of St. George, UT; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, Kent Farnsworth, sisters, Deloras Cannon and Irene Jacobson, grandson, William Victor Jones and granddaughter, Maylynn Noel Willis.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 pm and Friday, March 12, 2010 from 11:30-12:30 prior to the services at Spilsbury Mortuary. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery.
