Randall “Randy” Kenneth  Logan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, friend, passed away July 21, 2010. He was born May 24, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan to Kenneth and Judith Schick Logan.

Randy graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1975, and joined the U.S. Army, where he served with the Military Police. This led to a career in law enforcement which lasted for 25 years. He retired from the police with the rank of Captain in Green River, Wyoming. Randy was a member of FOP ( Fraternal Order of Police.) As part of his career in law enforcement, he was a SWAT instructor and bomb technician. Randy later worked in drilling, blasting, as a private investigator, fire protection, security and loss prevention. Randy was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed boating, fishing, his family and especially fixing things; which he learned from Grandpa Schick.

He is survived by  his loving wife, Sally of LaVerkin, UT; and family, mother, Judith Logan of Federal Way, WY; three children, Matt (Aly) Logan of Chicago, IL, Christopher White of South Ogden, UT, Sarah Logan of St. George, UT; two sisters, Sherry (Carl) Knox of Des Moines, WA, Debbie (Jeff) Hoon of Federal Way, WA; a beloved grandson, Kenyan White; and eight nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Logan; brother, Timothy Logan; Grandpa and Grandma Schick and Grandpa and Grandma Logan.

He will be forever missed and greatly loved by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George. There will be a viewing from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up and donations may be made in the name of Randall Logan at any  Zions Bank.
