Roxie Bringhurst Beaumont, 70, our sweet wife, mother and grandmother returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, with her eternal companion by her side. Roxie was born on April 27, 1940, to Leland and Hazel Bringhurst in Toquerville, Utah. She married her sweetheart, Richard Clark Beaumont on October 1, 1957, in the St. George Temple.
Roxie was such a sweet and caring person. There was never a birthday or anniversary of family or friends that she did not give them a call and wish them the best. She always had plenty of time for everyone and was known for her amazing smile. She treasured her time being a homemaker and mother. Richard and Roxie were blessed with three children; Colette (Scott) Lester of Las Vegas, Nevada, Alan (Kathy) Beaumont of Washington, Utah, and Nola Kay (Scott) Lewis of LaVerkin, Utah. The greatest joy to Roxie was her eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren who she loved and cherished.
Roxie had a strong testimony and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Roxie loved keeping personal records doing genealogy and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, children, and sisters; Dola (Bud) Dalton of St. George, Norene Gubler of LaVerkin, and brother, Howard (Anita) Bringhurst of Hurricane, Utah. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nola Kay, parents, Leland and Hazel Bringhurst, sisters; Alice May, Mona Olds, LaRue Branham, LaRee Bringhurst, brothers; Leland Bringhurst, George Bringhurst, and Alvin Bringhurst.
The Family wishes to thank all of those who provided her with loving care.
