Debbie Krebs

Debbie Krebs, 66, passed away at her home surrounded by her family Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born May 11, 1956, in American Fork, Utah, to Lawrence Waldo Farr and Ruth Walker Farr.

Debbie was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

After the passing of her father in 1957, her mother Ruth remarried J. Reed Peterson in 1958. Growing up on the farm, Debbie enjoyed riding horses as a child and attended school in Pleasant Grove. She participated in the Pep Club during her High School years and then graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1974.

Debbie married the love of her life, L. Cloyd Krebs, September 14, 1974, at the LaFeria Reception Center in Lehi, Utah. She attended cosmetology school in Murray, Utah, in 1974. Debbie worked at Beth’s Salon in American Fork, Utah, and then had a very successful home salon for many years. She taught at Bon Losee Academy of Hair Artistry from 1995-1997. She then had a Hair Replacement Salon for 20 years in St. George, Utah. She retired in 2019.

Debbie had a true zest for life and found joy in everything she did. She loved and adored her family and delighted to spend time with them doing a variety of things. She loved the outdoors, gardening, watching things grow, and doing yard projects. She also cherished many adventures camping, hunting, boating at Lake Powell, and going on Caribbean Cruises. Debbie had a creative knack and flair. She had a passion for quilting, sewing, decorating, and making things beautiful. She made everything fun and special and always went the extra mile. Debbie was a very thoughtful and selfless person who was ready to help her kids and grandkids at a moment’s notice and supported them all to the fullest in all their activities and endeavors. She always had a plan and had an incredible work ethic that was unsurpassed. Debbie always lived life to the fullest and made the best life for all her family.

She lived in 5 different Utah cities over the course of her life, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Lehi, Santa Clara, and Dammeron Valley.

Debbie was strong and courageous and will be deeply missed. She is survived and cherished by her husband L. Cloyd Krebs of Dammeron Valley, Utah, Daughter Angie (Jeromy) Holmes of Brookside, Utah, Son Josh (Tara) Krebs of Diamond Valley, Utah, Son Nick (Tiffany) Krebs of Panaca, Nevada. She was the adored Nana of Silver & Kooper (Angie & Jeromy) Holmes, Axel, Cruz, & Mavrick (Josh & Tara) Krebs, Quinton, Dodge & Reagan (Nick & Tiffany) Krebs.

She was also survived by her siblings, sisters Gay Hales of Vernal, Utah, Beverly Bradley of St. George, Utah, Pauline Jarvis of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and brother Michael Farr of Eugene, Oregon.

She was Preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Waldo Farr, Stepfather, J. Reed Peterson, and Mother Ruth Walker Farr.

There will be an Open House held in her honor as a Celebration of Life, Friday, July 15, 2022, from 9:00 am to10:30 am at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, Utah.

Interment will take place in Tonaquint Cemetery in St. George, UT.
