Eldene Hall Stewart

Eldene Hall Stewart passed away at home on Sep 6, 2022, at age 95. She was born on Oct 15, 1926, in St. George, Utah to Orson Charles Hall and Philena Pickett. She married Gale Duane Stewart (Breeze) on Aug 22, 1950, in the St. George Temple.

She was raised in St. George with summers in Pine Valley. She graduated from Dixie High and Dixie College. She worked at the telephone office and U&I Sugar Co. She served two LDS missions with her husband and was an ordinance worker in the St. George temple for many years. She treasured her family and enjoyed the association of many life-long friends.

She is survived by her four children: Chuck (Cindy) Stewart of St. George, Stan (Kathryn) Stewart of Cedar City, Lisa (Joe) Manumaleuna of St. George, and Shelley Stewart of Salt Lake, 24 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S Bluff St, St. George, Utah. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
