Kellyanne Bentley Taylor

June 2, 1965 — March 25, 2022

Kellyanne Bentley Taylor, aged 56, passed away on March 25, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 2, 1965, to Richard Sullivan Bentley Jr and Adele Baird.

While Kellyanne was born in Dallas, she was mostly raised in Las Vegas, and St. George, Utah. There were some brief layovers in Hollywood, California, and Provo, Utah, but when she spoke of her childhood, it was always Las Vegas and going to High School at Bonanza High. The family moved to St. George, Utah in her sophomore year of high school, and she graduated from Dixie High. She lettered in Volleyball and was the President of the Spanish club, where she organized an amazing club trip to Mexico. Upon graduating from Dixie High School, Kellyanne earned her associate degree from Dixie College (Currently Dixie State University) and then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, majoring in accounting at the David Eccles School of Business.

Kellyanne had various accounting jobs in the Las Vegas valley, including private firms, and the Nevada State board of Nursing. She started a career with the City of Henderson in 1999, working many years as an accountant in the Finance Department. Kellyanne spent the final year of her life and career working in the City of Henderson’s Clerk’s Office, which she absolutely loved.

Kellyanne met the love of her life, Adam T. Taylor while they both attended Dixie College and they were married in the St. George Utah Temple on December 12, 1989. Kellyanne and Adam moved back to Southern Nevada in 1993 and raised four wonderful daughters together in Henderson. Besides her busy career and family, Kellyanne served as Secretary and Treasurer of her HOA, served in many callings in her ward, and was always helping others navigate the intricacies of the City’s departments to find what they needed. She was empathetic, compassionate, loving, intelligent, creative, playfulâ€" and a real problem solver. She loved books and was an avid reader, loved game nights with her family, and was always thinking of ways to make others smile with a thoughtful or quirky gift. She claimed to be an introvert but was very loyal to and loved dearly the people in her life.

She is survived by her mother Adele Baird Bentley of Washington Utah, husband Adam T. Taylor of Henderson Nevada, her four daughters Marci Taylor Godfrey (Matthew), Madeline Taylor Baker (Baxter) of Washington Utah, Morgan Taylor and Micaela Taylor of Henderson Nevada and four Godfrey granddaughters, Briella, Emmaline, Claire and Adalie Godfrey, of Henderson Nevada. Her sisters Karen Bentley of Washington Utah, Kimberley Jones (Cory) Henderson Nevada, and brother Richard Randall Bentley (Brandi Van Ry) of Las Vegas Nevada, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Sullivan Bentley Jr. who joined his people on July 16, 2021, in Washington Utah.

The family wishes to express profound thanks to the sisters of the South Pointe Ward and members of the Royal Mesa Young Single Adult Ward for their daily journey to the Taylor home to provide much needed relief during the final weeks of her life.

We miss you so much Kellyanne!
