Born May 23,1945 passed away unexpectedly at his home in St. George on July 11,2022 at the age of 77.

Bert was born in Tooele Utah to Robert Blood and Idaho Wallis Blood. He was married to Pamela (Myers) Blood on January 10, 1973, in Fredonia Arizona and they made their home together in St. George, Utah.

He was born in Tooele, Utah. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Pioche, Nevada. After a few short years his family moved to St. George where he spent most of his life and met the love of his life. He attended West Elementary and Woodward Highschool. He then served our country as a member of the Army National Guard.

He went on to become a "Jack of All Trades." He worked with exotic animals of all kinds. He worked on many movie sets including "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "Jeremiah Johnson." He met Katharine Ross, Robert Redford, Ted Cassidy, and many others. He was a welder, a miner, a mechanic, a veteran, and much much more.

He loved camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, old cars and above all else, anything airplane, He also loved animals. If it had a heartbeat, it was his friend. He eventually lived his dream to retire in Hamblin Valley with the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Blood of St. George, Utah. His children Trudy Rowley of Hurricane, Utah and Connie Millett of St. George, Utah; 5 grandchildren; Ashley, Eric, Brittany, Chaynee, and Braxton; and 6 great grandchildren; Sister Shirley (Steve) Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada and Brother Alan (Amy) Terrill of Overton, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by Father Robert Blood, Mother Ida Blood, and daughter Melanie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum, 4196 South. Airport Parkway, Box 2, St. George, Utah 84790.

A celebration of life may be held at an undetermined date.
