Albert "Cheetah" Raymond Letsch Jr., age 63, passed peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026, at his residence in St. George, Utah. Cheetah was born on January 10, 1963, in Derby, Connecticut, to Albert Raymond Letsch Sr. and Frances Grillo Letsch.

When he was young, the family would go on vacation to Rhode Island, which he loved and spent many holidays together. Cheetah would talk to anyone he came across so he was affectionately named "The Mayor" of the town he lived in. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his time fishing and camping in the woods.

Cheetah was a devoted music lover, who didn't just listen to the music. He felt it in his soul filling his home and wherever he went with his favorite tunes playing loudly enough to rattle the windows! Having learned from the best in his family, he inherited a love for the culinary arts that he enthusiastically "insisted" sharing his skills with others.

Cheetah was a dedicated truck driver by trade and spent many years on the road. However, his true passion was found when he wasn't behind the wheel of his rig but behind the handlebars of his beloved Harley-Davidson.

Cheetah lived his life his way but always as a true patriot. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves and later was part of the Patriot Guard Riders motorcycle group. They stood for Honor, Dignity, and Respect in memory of our troops and defenders of our freedom. Cheetahs last five years unfortunately were spent in a motorized wheelchair due to a long-term illness, but he is now free and riding on smoother roads in the great beyond.

Cheetah's predeceased family includes his father, Albert Raymond Letsch Sr.; his mother, Frances Grillo Kelly; stepfather, Robert Kelly; grandparents, Fred and Eleanor Yakushewich, and Francis and Robert Blain. He is survived by his sister, Jody Mitola and her husband Gary; daughter, Amanda Ardzinski; granddaughter, Annika (Annie) Ardzinski; grandson, Kazimierz (Kaz) Ardzinski; and nephew, Dylan. He will also be missed by many cousins and friends along with his best human friend of more than 20 years, Nelson Lugo, and his very best friend, Hoppy, his fur baby.

The family would like to thank Debbie Turner for her love and support for Cheetah throughout this final year of his journey along with the many caregivers who attended him.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:30p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. Cheetah will be making his final ride back to his home state of Connecticut on Friday, April 17, 2026. You will forever be in our hearts!
