Barbara Chase

Barbara Ellen Chase (Hilton), born December 24, 1948, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 76.

Barbara is survived by her loving son, Michael Hilton, and daughter, Mary Gillespie (Jeff), along with her cherished grandchildren: Jazzmine (Tylar), Jordan, and Alex, as well as three great-grandchildren: Jayden, Tehlani, and Julian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Janette Hilton, and her beloved husband, Doyle Chase.

Throughout her life, Barbara lived in various cities, including Portland, OR, and Lakin, KS, before settling in St. George, UT, where she made her home for many years. Barbara was known for her kind heart, especially her deep love for animals. She was a dedicated supporter of the ASPCA, contributing monthly to help animals in need. Her love of dogs was evident to all who knew her, and she will be remembered for her compassion and generosity.
