Bobby K. Carrell
Passed away in his sleep Wednesday morning, Aug 6, 2025 in his home. He was born February 3rd, 1948 in Roosevelt, UT to Kenneth W. Carrell and June Rogers Carrell. He married Nancy L. Winona on March 21, 1975 in the Manti Temple for time and all eternity. His parents moved from Upalco, UT to Provo so his dad could further his education. He graduated and went to a trade college in carpentry. His parents then moved to St. George, UT so his dad could work for Farm Home Admin. That is where he met his wife to be. He went on an LDS Mission to Colorado, New Mexico Mission fall of 1972. After he returned home, his parents were living in Montecelo, UT. He then went to college in Logan, UT. He then married and moved back to St. George and started working in construction. He loved raising Pigeons, chickens and any farm animal he could, and he loved his garden. He loved building plant stands, rocking chairs and anything with wood. Over the last few years, he had been growing plants in his green house that he was so proud of, he loved anything outdoors. He loved the gospel and anything to do with it, he was always teaching it everywhere he went.
He is survived by one brother, Paul Carrell and 2 sisters; Patsy Jaramillo, Marilyn Snow, his wife; Nancy Winona Carrell, his children; Jeramie/Necole Hurricane, UT, Joshua/ Heidi Hurricane, UT, Denton/Stephanie LaverKin, UT, Bobby Lee/Donalee LaverKin, UT, Mindy/Andy LaverKin, UT, Kendra Hurricane, UT, Buckley Hurricane, UT, 25 Grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Kenneth W. And June Rogers Carrell and his grandparents.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 15 at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Service will take place at the Hurricane Red Brick Chapel, 274 S 100 W, Hurricane, UT. Interment will follow after the services at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
