Brady MacPherson, 41. Brady was born on Dec. 2, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third of four sons of Marilee Johnson MacPherson and Bradford Earl MacPherson. Brady spent his early days with his toes in the Florida beaches, then spent his childhood in Sandy, Utah. He graduated with his Eagle Scout award and with Honors from Jordan High School, and went on to pursue a Bachelors in Science and Aviation and a Masters in Commercial Aviation with dreams of becoming a pilot. He has a tender spot in his heart for Kiev, Ukraine where he served a faithful mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A blind date afterwards changed the course of his life, when he met his eternal sweetheart, Janelle Begay. His charismatic smile, goofy sense of humor, and deep love won her heart, and they were sealed in the St. George temple May 7, 2005. Janelle has been the anchor, the stalwart strength, and the unfailing love of his life. The joy and treasure of his life were his two living sons, Samuel 14, and Nathan 8. He was their greatest fan, best friend, and will no doubt continue to watch over and cheer them on them from the other side.
Brady had an entrepreneurial spirit, a love for ham radios and technology, a curiosity for life, and knack for knowing how to build and fix things. Brady was always mindful of the one, he made you feel seen, known, appreciated, and that all your dreams were possible. Despite his own physical challenges, he had a heart full of love, and shared that love freely with all through words and deeds.
Brady is preceded in death by his brother Ryan and his father Brad. He is survived by his two children Samual Brady and Nathan Ryan, his dear wife Janelle, his two brothers James E. (Jenessa) and Christopher Lee (Leah), sister-in-law Ashley (Leo) his Mother Marilee and stepfather Andy Christensen.
Brady made his final flight to heaven on March 22, 2023. His sure testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ will forever echo in our ears as we strive to be worthy to meet him again. We love and miss you, but know you are in a better place where you can continue your mission, surrounded by Angels, our Savior, and Heavenly Father. You will forever be mine, love your best bud, little scooter bug, and your cookie.
