Candice Campbell

Candice Sue Campbell
Returned to the arms of her loving Heavenly Father August 20th 2025.

Born Virginia Sue December 22nd 1948. She was born in Columbus Ohio and claimed to be a military brat who lived all over the world. Some of her favorites to talk about were France, Surprise Arizona, Victorville California, and Sandy Utah.

She was raised by her Loving parents William L Edwards (Bill) and Margaret Marion Pierce Edwards (Peggy.) She had 6 siblings growing up and hated hand me downs.

She met the love her life, Michael Campbell while waitressing in a Dee's restaurant. She almost didn't date him because he drove a truck. They fell in love and married on March 21st 1970. Mike brought with him into the marriage four children. Candy had one son that Mike adopted and raised as his own.

They had three girls together. She was so supportive of Mike and his Career as a Snap-on man. They loved to set and achieve goals together, go to Disneyland, to travel and cruise. Lake Powell was their summer home. They loved to be on the water.

They lived in Sandy, Utah, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Bluffdale, Utah, Huntington Beach, California and Washington, Utah.

Candy loved her family and moved her parents and an aunt into her home. She welcomed several bonus Daughters in the form of Exchange students, and was an epic Dance mom. She loved a full and loud house.

She raised champion poodles, something she was very proud of. She loved her bowling team, to shop and decorate. She went all out for all Holidays, but Christmas was her favorite.

After raising her children she opened her own gift and home decor shop. Then moved to Huntington Beach to manage a mobile home park and be closer to her brother Lou. She made her dream of working at Disneyland come true and of course worked in the stores, with her favorite days spent working at Small World and Bippiti Bobbidi Boutique. She loved it so much, it brought her a great deal of joy.

They moved back to Utah so Mike could retire and they could be closer to family and their grandkids. They spent their final years in Washington Utah, to be closer to the sunshine and have warmer winter months.

She is survived by her children; Cozette Campbell, Nicole Topham (Lucas), Candice Cherie Campbell (Alan ) who all adore her, her daughter-in-law Michelle, as well as the children she shared with Mike; Danyon Campbell (Hiroko), Tammy Lavery (Mark) and Debbie Shaffer (Steve) they also love her dearly; and an army of grandchildren and great-grandchildren - who think she is made of all things magical, and her brothers Lou (Donna) and David (Jennifer) and sister Sue. She will be missed every day.

She was reunited with her loving husband, Michael, their two sons William (Jerry) Tilon, her parents and her siblings that preceded her in death.
