DeAnn Iverson

DeAnn Iverson, 74, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. She was born June 17, 1951, to Stanley and Karma Sorenson. She was raised in Leeds, Utah, and graduated from Dixie High School in 1969. She married Ken Iverson shortly after graduation and they settled in St. George, having four children, then later divorcing.

DeAnn worked for the State of Utah for over 40 years. She met some of her best friends and cherished relationships through work.

DeAnn lived a great life and was always on the go, doing things with family and her great friends. She loved to spend time golfing, traveling, at lunches and movie nights. She was so grateful for all of her dear lifelong friends, who did all of these things with her and always kept her smiling.

She loved to have her family together and did so much with and for all of them. She loved her grandkids - Nicolas, Josie, Brooklyn, Britnee, Lainee, Teegan, Jordyn, Landree and Whitlee - so much and spent her life supporting them in everything she could. DeAnn found joy in her role as a grandmother. Each of these kids hold a special place in her heart. She was their biggest fan, whether cheering from the bleachers at a game or rodeo, attending a dance recital, celebrating birthdays and holidays, grandmas presence made everything better. She was also lucky to be a great-grandma to Gracee, Finn, Rhenley and Wace.
She is survived by her children, Lynette (Nathan) Walker, KenDe (Jason) May, Julie (Rawlin) Platt, and Morgan (Channing) Iverson.

It is common for people to tell her family how fun she was and how they loved her. We will all miss her so very much.

Funeral Services for DeAnn will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Spilsbury Mortuary, located at 110 S. Bluff Street, St, George, Utah. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation Sunday evening, March 15, 2026, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Spilsbury Mortuary, and also an additional viewing Monday at the mortuary at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
