Donald Clyde Reinert passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on August 4, 2023. He was 87 years old. Donald was born on July 12, 1936, in Slatington, Pennsylvania to Hattie and Floyd Reinert. His family lived on the Appalachian trail and loved foraging for blueberries and enjoying nature. Donald graduated from High School two years early and went on to graduate from Temple University in Electrical Engineering. During that time, he met and married his first wife Annette. They went on to have four beautiful children. Annette and Donald moved to California, to work on Airplane Simulators, and then to Nevada, where he used his degree to become a data collector and supervisor at the nuclear bomb test sites. Annette passed away at age 50, and his daughter Doreen passed away at age 62.

Donald never lost his love for the outdoors. Much of his later life was spent hiking, fishing, and panning for gold. Eventually allowing him to meet his beloved wife, Patricia. They were married in January 2001. Family was another of Donald’s most important values, and he loved every one of his children and stepchildren.
