Listen to Obituary

Erin Marie Broderick, 62, passed away March 24, 2026. She was born on March 30, 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas Arwynn McPherson and Doral Ann Althouse McPherson. She is survived by her Sister Cindy Motley of Valley Grande, Alabama, brother Stephen McPherson, Sr. of Xenia, Ohio, Aunt Lydia of Sycamore, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born into a military family, Erin’s early life began on Air Force bases in West Germany, Las Vegas, Nevada and Dayton, Ohio. Moving around in her youth gave her a travel bug that continued throughout her life as she attempted to visit all National Parks in the United States.

Erin was a determined and strong-minded woman who loved to share her thoughts and ideas with others. She made an impact on all who she met.

Erin was trained in medical transcription and made that a career as well as caring for children while living in Dayton, Ohio for many years.

Erin was ultra-competitive and didn’t want to be outdone in any way. She would compete to be the top sales producer for years when she worked at a call center, and she often achieved that status.

Erin had a love for dogs and developed close ties with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. She also had a charitable nature that provided for others whom she felt had needs, particularly during the Pandemic. Erin was loved by her family in Ohio before she moved to Arizona, as well as the family and many friends in the Centennial Park area.

Graveside Services for Erin will be held at the Centennial Park Cemetery, 555 Cannon Avenue, Centennial Park, Arizona, 86021 at 1:00 pm (Utah time) on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, (435) 673-2454.

Friends and family are invited to sign her guestbook at www.spilsburymortuary.com.
