Frances Beal Christensen, 91, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. She was born August 9, 1930, in Cedar City, Utah, to Doctor John and Gwen Beal. She married Boyd Holyoak on January 16, 1949. They were later divorced. She is survived by her two children Lynn Holyoak Mundt (Las Vegas, NV); and Kurt (Ruth) Holyoak (Washington, UT). She also has five grandchildren, Brock, Logan & Shaylee Holyoak; David & Paul Mundt and eight great-grandchildren. Her family was the love of her life.
She graduated cum laude from Southern Utah University with her Bachelors of Science degree and received her Masters of Arts, and Administrative credentials from Utah State University.
Mrs.”C” served the children of Washington County for 26 years, first as an elementary teacher, then as the principal of Dixie Middle School, and later retired from the school district in 1992.
She will go to join the love of her life, Fred Christensen whom she married in 1981. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
