Janet Louise Terry

Janet Louise Terry died November 29, 2025.  Janet was born on February 20, 1940, in North Kansas City, Missouri to Truman Dale Pyle and Iris Cleone Feller.  Janet married Theron Durward "Duke" Terry on June 30, 1955, in the seminary building in St. George, Utah.  On April 20, 1963, they were sealed in the St. George Temple.

At the age of 5 her parents divorced and she relocated to St. George, Utah with her mother and sister, Shirley to be closer to her mother's parents.  At the age of 15 she married "Duke" and a year later were blessed with a son, Kelly Durward and six years later a daughter, Michelle.  She has 10 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Janet had only gotten a ninth-grade education at the time she was married and in the mid 1980's was so proud to let her family know she had gotten her GED.  Janet was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved teaching in several capacities and serving in the temple with Duke.  She would always go to church early to greet people and give them much appreciated hugs.

Janet is survived by her two children, Kelly Terry (Theresa) of Price, Utah and Michelle Ainscough of Enterprise, Utah.  Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Duke; parents; and her sister, Shirley Kelly.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Enterprise 1st Ward Chapel, 80 Center Street, in Enterprise, Utah.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 - 10:45 am prior to the service.  Interment will follow at the Enterprise City Cemetery.
