Jean Branham Hall (Jeanie) of Hurricane, Utah, passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 74. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family. She was born on October 19, 1951. She was the only daughter to Emery and Jean Hepworth Branham.
Jean was raised in both Hurricane, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated from High School in 1969. She went on to marry William Ersel Hall on July 29, 1972. Bill and Jean raised six children, five boys and one daughter. Jean was a loving but feisty mother, and her children and the neighborhood knew not to mess with her.
She was often described as having fire, she had a way of never putting up with anyone's crap. Still, she loved and loved hard. Jean loved being with family, and it was the most important thing to her. She also loved music, especially with a good beat so she could dance. She would often host dance parties for her grandchildren. She loved the smell of flowers and when it rained. She always expressed gratitude for the little things in life. She was also a faithful woman who loved God and was very active in church. She believed in being real, including swearing at the church pulpit. Whenever there was contention with her children or grandchildren, she would use her broom to separate any fights. The legend of "Grandmas broom" carried on long in her family. Anyone that knew Jean would say she was the most genuine person you'd ever met, but with some spice.
Jean is survived by her husband, William E Hall; children, Daryl R Hall, Michael S Hall (Brandi D Hall), Jason N Hall (Brandi J Hall), Colleen S Hall, and Maria Hall.
She will be joyfully reunited with both her parents as well as her two sons, James E Hall and Matthew W Hall
