Jerry Boyd Dameron, 90, died on June 3, 2024, at 3:40 pm, in Washington Utah. He was born in Canoga Park, California on October 6, 1933, to Anson Boyd Dameron and Celeste McCoy who both predeceased him. He married Mary-Theresa Cimino on September 3, 1970, in Canoga Park, California.
He enlisted in the Navy and served on a destroyer during the Korean War as well as on a goodwill tour around the world with his crew and ship. After his service, he briefly worked at Singer Sewing Machines and then worked at Pacific Telephone where he was a lineman and then cable splicer before retiring in 1986.
His first wife, Barbara Conklin, who also predeceased him, bore him his children, Theresa Jean (Don) Bullard and Steven Boyd Dameron.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Merle Waverly, Anson Laroy, Troy Morrell Williams, David Neal Williams, Virgil Delbert, and Charles Elton Dameron, and sisters Clara Letha and Clellah Jewel Dameron.
He is survived by sisters Sonja Faye and Vina Celeste; his children Steven Boyd and Theresa Jean (Don) Bullard and his grandchildren, Taylor Boyd and Amanda Nicole Dameron and a great-grandson Carter Boyd Dameron. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Washington City Cemetery beginning at 9:30 -10:45 am with Military Honors.
