n February 19, 2022, we lost a huge piece of our heart, John David Edam.

Our beloved husband, father, son, and brother brought joy, love, and humor to everyone he met. John was born in St. Paul, MN and grew up in Salt Lake City, UT where he met and married the love of his life, Annamarie Oberle. They had two children, Sam and Alex who meant everything to them.

He is survived by his wife Anna; daughter Samantha; mother Beverly Harness; siblings Jan Effertz (Neil); Bob Edam (Terry); Cathy Edam (Cid); Karen Packard (Paul) and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Don and son Alexander John.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 12th, 2022, at The Garden Place at Heritage Park, 2601 Sunnyside Ave, Salt Lake City at 11:00 am. Family is invited to gather at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to The Zion National Park Forever Project. JC, we love you.
