Judith "Judy" Ann Gorsegner, 78, passed away Thursday, January 22nd 2026. She was born February 13th 1947 in Eugene, Oregon to Eunice Elizabeth Petzold and Robert Barnett Wilson. Judy married Gerald "Jerry" Harvey Gorsegner on February 25, 1969 at the Los Angeles Temple. They spent 54 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in 2023.
Judy grew up in Elmira, Oregon just outside of Eugene. She graduated from Elmira High School in 1965. Afterwards, she attended the University of Oregon. After getting married, she and Jerry lived in Wurzburg, Germany while he was stationed there for the army. Upon return to Oregon, they settled in Klamath Falls where she helped raise 5 children. She stayed at home with the children until 1987 when she began working full-time as a secretary at Henley High School in Klamath Falls. In 2009, she and Jerry began serving a two-year LDS mission in the Dominican Republic Temple.
She absolutely loved to read. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. She also loved history and traveling. She enjoyed quiet time putting together puzzles and rambunctious times playing games and spending time with family and friends.
