Patricia Adams

Patricia Vincent Adams died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 8, 2025. She was born on March 16, 1931, in St. George, Utah, to Lorenzo Power and Minnie Paxman Vincent.

Mom graduated from Dixie High School Class of 1949. She then attended cosmetology school in Salt Lake City, Utah. Returning to St. George, she was introduced to Sherwin Adams by a good friend. They were married June 17, 1950, the marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.

They made their home in Enterprise, Utah, where they raised their four children. Mom was a talented cook, seamstress and was very particular about the appearance of her home and yard. Her home was a place where her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always welcome.

Mom was always supportive of Dad. In 1977, they enjoyed several construction projects in Utah and Nevada where they lived in their trailer and made many lifelong friends. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved working on the Relief Society Funeral Committee the most.

She is survived by her son, Vincent; daughters, Anita (Randy) Terry, Karen (Ronald) Gardner and Mellie (Jack) Scott; sister, ViRene Chamberlain; sisters in law, Lola and Georganna Vincent; 19 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherwin Adams; grandson, Tyrel Terry and Jerry Gardner; parents; brother, Ronald, Donald and Jerry Vincent and sister Rhea Canfield.

The family would like to thank Spring Gardens Assisted Living, Dixie Hospice and the kind and caring people of Enterprise.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. A second viewing will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral at 11:00 a.m. at the Enterprise Stake Center, 80 S. Center, Enterprise, Utah. Interment will take place at the Enterprise City Cemetery.
