She was raised in Orderville, Utah and spent her early days with her older brother Dale, two younger sisters LuJean and Lovina, half siblings Reo Heaton, Gwen Adams, Mary Janes, and Helen Hall. They were all a big help to their mother in the Orderville Post Office and her father's gas station/garage next door. Together they welcomed and raised four fabulous and hell raising children, Kelly (the late Michael Mumford), Connie (Dave Misener), Clyde Troy, and Andrea (Gabe Quintana).
