Marge Linn
April 9, 1944 - September 21, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Marge Linn announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer. Marge passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2025, surrounded by love, just as she wished.

Born on April 9, 1944, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Walter and Alice Biersach, Marge lived her 81 years with generosity, humor, and compassion. While raising her family in Juneau, Wisconsin, she also built a long and dedicated career at John Deere, balancing both roles with strength and grace.

In 1998, Marge and her beloved husband, Bill, moved to St. George, Utah, where they spent many wonderful years together in retirement. She was known for her big heart, her willingness to help others, and her habit of always cooking enough to feed a crowd. She found joy in caring for her neighbors, driving them to appointments, and sharing meals and friendship.

Marge is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Stephanie; her sister, Janet; and her parents, Walter and Alice. She is survived by her loving son, Scott Linn, and his wife, Bethanie; her sisters, Marlous Martensen and Lois Foss; along with extended family and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Her final wishes were simple: to be at peace in her own home and for her family and friends to honor her life without a formal funeral or celebration of life. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Her ashes will be placed in the rose garden at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in St. George, Utah, alongside her beloved husband, Bill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in her honor, as Marge had a special love for dogs.

May her kindness, love, and spirit of generosity live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. 435-673-2454.
