Michael Glenn Campbell, 78, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023. He was born July 8, 1944, in Pomona, California to Glenn and Aileen Campbell. He married Candice Sue Edwards March 21, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple (We asked mom, but she could not remember the date, don’t ask. Dad was always the one that was better with dates).

Michael spent his youngest years in Southern California and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when he was about 11 years old. He loved his family, music, and spending time on vacations anywhere warm. Not many summers went by where you could not find him with his family in California, Disneyland, or Lake Powell. He was an example to all his children and taught them to always follow their passion and do their best. He was an example to all as he spent countless hours volunteering for Special Olympics and many other events with his daughter Cozy girl.

He is survived by his wife Candy; his children Tammy and Mark Lavery, Danyon and Hiroko, Debbie and Steve Shaffer, Michelle Campbell; Cozette Campbell, Nikki and Lucas Topham, and Cherie Campbell; fifteen grandchildren; 14 great-grandchilden; one great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother; two sons TiLon and Will Campbell; and grandson Michael Joshua Dodge.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of  Latter-day Saints Hidden Valley Chapel located at 130 East Hidden Valley Drive, St George, Utah 84790

A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service at 10:00 am.

Graveside services will commence shortly after chapel service at the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah 84780.
