Beloved husband stepdad grandpa brother uncle and friend Michael Alan Connors, 63 passed away Saturday December 3, 2022, at his home in St. George Utah. He was born June 7, 1959, in Kellogg Idaho. Born to Tom Rowe Connors and Irma Loretta Iszler.

Mike married Christie Best on May 20, 2017, in St. George Utah. Mike was raised in Kellogg Idaho. He graduated from Kellogg High in 1977. During high school Mike managed KFC then worked for Hagedone Construction. He later moved to Oahu, Hawaii, he resided in Oahu for 10
years then moved on to Las Vegas Nevada where he started his own construction company U-WANT construction and met the love of his life Christie.

Mike specialized in woodworking and log homes, most of Mike’s work was done in Mount Charleston, Nevada. He traveled between Vegas and St. George for several years, working the weekdays in Vegas and spending his weekends home in St. George. In 2009 he made St.
George his permanent residence where he and his wife opened a retail business (Mike’s Smoke Cigar & Gifts) in 2009. His goal was to retire at the age of 50 and with the success of his retail business he was able to do so.

Mike was the life of the party and had a heart of gold. Mike never hesitated to help anyone in need. He literally opened his home and gave the shirt off his back to a perfect stranger who became a lifelong friend. In Vegas every Christmas Mike helped organize the Fire Truck Caroling.

Mike loved playing pool and just like his father, he was good at it. If you ever beat him in a game, he most likely let you win. He enjoyed being in the sun and around water, swimming, surfing, and boating. He loved Harley Davidsons and going for long rides and adventures with his friends. Mike was a Seattle Seahawks fan through and through. He loved watching NFL Football on the deck at his home. He enjoyed family get-togethers and BBQ’s. He was a member of the Dixie Elks Lodge for 23 years and went there often to visit with friends, watch football and be a pool shark. Mike was patient, loving, giving, and kind.
