Patricia Holmes

Patricia Mae (Papke) Holmes, age 86, of Hurricane, Utah, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Frank and Rose Papke.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Joseph Holmes, and her eldest son, Micheal Holmes. She is survived by her children: Mary Hohreiter, Donna Hernandez, Patrick Holmes, and twin sons Mark and Paul Holmes. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Papke, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Patricia lived a full and vibrant life. She loved to travel, exploring new places and making memories along the way. At home, she found joy in cooking, sharing meals that brought family and friends together. Her warmth, sense of humor, and love for her family touched everyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. Central Time at the Community Presbyterian Church in Forsyth, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived.

Patricia leaves behind not only a legacy of love and family but also her reminder to us all: "Never take any wooden nickels."

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
