St. George, Utah - Randee Lynn (Stout) Taylor, age 80, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at The Retreat at Sunriver care facility. She was born September 29, 1945, in Hurricane, Utah as the eldest daughter to Elton and Verlyn (Wood) Stout.
Randee lived in Kanarraville, Utah until age 8 when her family moved to North Las Vegas in 1953. She attended elementary and secondary schools there and graduated from Rancho High School and Seminary in 1963, where she made many cherished lifelong friends. She moved to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University. While back home on break from BYU, she met and fell in love with Terence (Terry) Michael Taylor. It didn't take long for his charm, good looks and humorous personality to win her over. He proposed and they married February 1, 1964 in the St. George, Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
After marriage to Terry, they lived in Payson, Utah; Las Vegas, Nevada; Springville, Iowa; back to Las Vegas, Nevada and then moved to St. George, Utah in 1973, where they raised their 7 children, first on 600 South near Main and then finally to Green Valley in 1979. The Green Valley neighborhood blessed the family with very fond memories of good times and lifelong relationships. After all the children were "gone", they moved to Gunlock, Utah in 2003, where they loved and were loved by that unique, special community. There, Terry passed in 2011 and Randee remained until her health and care required her to move back to Green Valley in 2022, to be closer to family.
Randee was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Terry. She supported him in all his pursuits, and Terry returned that love and support to Randee. They worked hard together to raise 7 children through thick and thin times.
Above all else, Randee was a caring mother and grandmother. She was always available to help her children and grandchildren through difficult times and made countless personal sacrifices for her posterity. She was an amazing homemaker, ensuring 7 hungry stomachs were always filled. As a gifted seamstress, she made kids clothes, suits, denim jeans and beautiful wedding gowns.
Randee was a faithful member of the Church and accepted all Church callings and assignments extended to her. She had an abiding testimony of the restored Church of Jesus Christ and was a lifelong example to her children.
Outside of Church and family, Randee's professional pursuits were in real estate. She and Terry worked together as a team for many successful years, until his passing. Randee also specialized in property management. She acquired many valued and beloved clients over the years and found deep meaning and satisfaction serving them. She worked in real estate and property management until she was physically unable to continue, right up until 2025 at 80 years of age.
Randee is survived by her children Shelly (Robert) Ence (Ivins, Utah), Jeff Taylor (Enterprise, Utah), Travis Taylor (St. George, Utah), Todd (Heather) Taylor (Enterprise, Utah), Sean Taylor (Los Angeles, California), Jeni (Troy) Miller (St. George, Utah), and Tenille Kaufusi (Salt Lake City, Utah); 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters Sue (Jerry Atkin) Cox (St. George, Utah), Mary Lue (Lynn) Lewis (St. George, Utah), Tracy (Ryan) Behunin (Alpine, Utah); brothers Reynold (Mary Ellen) Stout (St. George, Utah), Terry (Susan) Stout (St. George, Utah).
