Saundra Rehna Baessler

Mesquite, Nevada - Saundra Rehna Baessler, age 85, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.

Saundra was born on August 15, 1940, in Murray, Utah, to Eugene and Rehan Morgan. She married Teddy John Ferre, and although the marriage later ended in divorce, they shared many years together before his passing in 1982.

Saundra embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed many activities throughout the years, including boating, bowling, and golfing. She especially loved spending time at casinos playing slot machines, video poker, and bingo. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and took great joy in having her family around her.

She is survived by her son, Mark John (Kathy) Ferre of Orem, Utah; her brother, Bill (Linda) Morgan; her sister, Claudia (Herm) Ruseler of St. George, Utah; her grandchildren, Brande (Greg) Booth, Klancie (Lindsay) Bailey, Feather Bailey, and Khiley (Joey) Gonzales; her great-grandson, Jon Worrall, who was her primary caretaker; as well as many other beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Saundra was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Baessler; her parents, Eugene and Rehan Morgan; her sister, Gaylyn (Danny) Padilla; her brother, Dick (Margie) Morgan; her daughter, Kathe Wiseman; and her grandson, Clark Wiseman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah.

Saundra will be remembered for her love of family, her independent spirit, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures.
