William "Willy" Ray Heinrich

William Ray Heinrich was born on November 17, 1967, in Jefferson City, MO, to William Dewey Heinrich and Linda Lou Edgell. His siblings include Deanna, Steven, Bradley, and Kevin Heinrich. He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hamburg, Germany. He graduated from Lincoln University, and later obtained his master’s degree in business. He previously served as an Elders Quorum President, counselor in the bishopric, Young Men’s President, and Sunday School teacher.

He married Christine Ann Spriggs for time and eternity on November 21, 1989, in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. Together, they had 8 children: Fenja, William, Rachel (married to Kolby Anderson), Nathan (married to Jordan Skouson), Nicole (married to Taylor Earnshaw), Seth (married to Jadzia Kreyling), Eli, and Josh (married to Mandy West), and 7 grandchildren: Harper and Hayes Anderson, Levi, Lacy, and Liam Heinrich, and Annika and Vanessa Earnshaw. Willy passed away quietly and peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 11, 2023.

Willy was known for his sense of humor and his service for others. Despite several years of serious health struggles, both during and after cancer treatment, Willy continued to bring joy to the lives of those around him. Willy had a great love for his family and spent as much time with them as possible. He is loved by everyone who knows him and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:00am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cotton Acres Ward, 259 North Mall Drive, St George, Utah.

Burial services will follow at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
